Born in Nairobi, Kenya on November 10, 1971, Dr. Karmali was raised as the oldest child in a tight knit Indian family bonded by love, strong morals, and steadfast faith in God.

When Dr. Karmali was five years old, his parents made the bold and enterprising decision to relocate their family to Toronto, Canada believing the move would help secure better opportunities for their children. Growing up in Toronto with his parents and younger brother, Dr. Karmali flourished in a multi-cultural and sports oriented atmosphere

As a teen, the doctor attended Mark Garnu Collegiate Institute, a prestigious prep school where Dr. Karmali excelled academically, especially in the realm of science. Upon graduating from high school, Dr. Karmali enrolled in McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and finished college with a Bachelor in Science and Human Biology.

Recognizing his natural aptitude for science, medical school was an easy decision for the ambitious young doctor. Dr. Karmali enrolled in Ross University, a highly selective international, medical school on the Island of Dominica. Dr. Karmali finished his last two years of medical school training in New York and Massachusetts, eventually becoming the only person in his graduating class to receive certification as an expert in the practice of cosmetic and plastic surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Karmali managed to graduate medical school within a highly competitive environment.

Dr. Karmali wasted no time accelerating his career and began his residency at Boston University and Tufts. After five years of general surgery, trauma surgery, and a year of being Chief Surgical Resident, Dr. Karmali decided to relocate to the Mecca of Beverly Hills and enter the exhilarating 21st century world of cosmetic surgery

Dr. Karmali was trained by Dr. Fardad Forouzanpour at the Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgical Group, a nationally recognized Cosmetic Surgeon, Board Certified, and the Program Director of the American Academy of Cosmetic surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills. He has spent years practicing and refining his skills to the extent where he now ranks among Beverly Hill's most elite aesthetic practitioners.
